Cheers!
Yes, very interested in the upcoming Blade Runner, and I can’t wait to see the full trailer drop. Thanks! I’ll check out that link!
Terrific list!
Thank you!
This is the End and Young Adult! YEY!
It was so hard choosing the perfect gif for This is the End…so many great options with that movie hahaha
Nice list. I have to rewatch Legend. I don’t think I’ve seen it since I was a kid.
I love love love LOVE Legend! Theatrical cut is better than the director’s cut, in my opinion.
E.T. 😊
Frances Ha 😊
And then Willow and Legend. I’m a kid again!
Clearly, we know what decade I was born in 🙂
Great choices! These films are so rewatchable. We share some of the same 80s favorites (Blade Runner, Willow, Stand By Me). I didn’t know you are a Tarantino fan. Zombieland is fun and very quotable.
Thanks, Chris! Yes, big Tarantino fan ❤
Zombieland was pretty unexpected in this list, ha ha.
Fantastic list. Love all of the Tarantino picks!
Thanks, Ryan!!!
What a great concept for a post! Your list is fantastic. I agree with a lot of them. Way to represent Tarantino. Blade Runner and ET are all time favs too. But, wow, Under the Skin. I feel an instant bond already 😉 I’d love to see your director/acting lists now. Really fun special feature article!
Thanks, Dan! Join the blogathon! I’d love to see your entry! Gogogo!
Definitely inspiring. After I checked your awesome article, I started compiling a director’s A-Z list. Pretty challenging… especially the S (Spielberg, Scorsese, Soderbergh, K.Smith, etc)
Exciting! Come join -> http://bit.ly/2qJL0sB
Wow, way to go!
Thx, Jay!
Just a fun easy to read post Courtney. As always a pleasure and some fantastic choices that are favourites of mine too.
Thank you, Lloyd!
Must see The Virgin Suicides and Girl, Interrupted.
Get on it and report back!!!
😉
Wooo! Thank you so so so much for participating and being the first one to jump on it! I didn’t think anyone would be so quick but looking at your list, it seems you didn’t second guess yourself one bit and went straight for movies only! Wise choice!
We only share one movie in this list my alphabet will be up next week, but I do love most of these myself. Tarantino, of course and Zombieland is so good! Was there a letter you struggled with a lot? Was there one you didn’t struggle at all? 😀
Thanks, girl! I don’t even think I picked anything for Q…skipped right over that one. I was torn between Aliens and American Beauty for A. This was so fun! Cheers!
I remember from last time Quiz Show got a lot of love from bloggers, have you seen that one?
I would have definitely gone with American Beauty over Aliens, I think. But both are great movies!
Not familiar with Quiz Show?? What’s that??
A movie from the 90s that’s apparently really good. I haven’t seen it myself but many bloggers mentioned it last time and it made runner up in terms of the letter Q. 😉
Quiz Show is incredible, you gals should watch it!
Awesome picks! Love a lot of the ones you picked – Midnight in Paris, This is the End, Heathers. I still gotta see Stand By Me and Pulp Fiction though. 😛
Get on it, Katy!!!
Omg, that gif from This is the End is just perfect, I need to rewatch that movie ASAP!
Great list 😀
Thanks! That movie is a gem.

Great list! People really need to make more movies that start with Q lol
Right??? I had to totally skip over Q…
Young Adult was pretty amazing! And Ryan Gosling is a National Treasure! And is it bad that I haven’t seen Blade Runner? And Aliens? And Space Odyssey? Geez, my sci-fi repertoire is sorely deficient. I need to get on this.
OMG. GET ON IT NOW, GIRL! GO GO GO!
Here is my movie alphabet – tried to include some offbeat choices! – https://johnrieber.com/2017/05/11/my-movie-alphabet-an-a-z-of-my-favorite-and-most-offbeat-films/
Awesome! I’ll definitely check it out!!
Great list! Love the inclusion of 2001, Chinatown, Jackie Brown (you grabbed one of my favorite quotes from it), Pulp, Young Adult and so much more.
Thanks, Alex! Jackie Brown is filled with so many perfect quotes; it was a challenge to choose just one 🙂
A terrific list Courtney. I admire your varied taste. And I love that Aliens quote, bad ass Ripley at her finest.
Thank you 🙂
You’ve got good style.

Excellent list! Love that Under the Skin made it. I tell everyone I know to check that out if they haven’t. Need to check out Frances Ha, I’ve heard good things about it.
